What does an LTC radio cost?

In response to my inquiry about Enclosure 1 of Staff Report #3 from the 2006/02/01 agenda.

This, from Joanna Kurowski (LTC Manager of Service Quality)…

“The unit cost of a radio, and on board automatic vehicle location communication system hardware located in the driver area and on the roof, including all applicable cabling, etc., is $16,000 per bus.”
