Proposed New 2006 Water Rates – Deferred
At this morning’s Board of Control meeting, the decision was made to defer the proposed change. The delay is said to be so that staff can review the rates and consult with water users.
Speaking on behalf of the proposed change was Gloria McGinn McTeer (Urban League) and Milyn Hall (citizen activist). Leading the business community’s opposition to the new rates, and the Manager of Labatt Breweries.
