Hybrid Embryos

British regulators have agreed to allow human-animal embryos to be created and used for research.

The same country that gave us Mad Cow Disease is reported to be about to allow the fusion of human-animal embryos (chimeras) to create stem cells.

Currently in Canada, there is a ban on the creation of human-animal embryos. In the U.S., although there is no federal funding for such research, private-sector and state funding is allowed.
