Police Release – Robbery

On Monday, December 15, 2008, at approximately 11:20pm, the London Police Service responded to a robbery at the Hamilton Road Mini-Mart, located at 1161 Hamilton Road. Two men entered the store, one of whom was holding a handgun. The suspects forced the 21 year old male clerk to the floor and assaulted him by striking him on the head with the gun. The male clerk sustained minor injuries as a result of this robbery, and the suspects made off with an amount of cash and goods.

The suspects are described as:

1 – Caucasian male, 6’0” tall with a deep voice, brown hair, and possible acne. He was wearing a black jacket with a hoodie.

2 – Caucasian male, 5’10”, blue jacket with fur on the hood, jeans, white running shoes and was possibly in possession of a knife.

At this point, the London Police Service Criminal Investigation Division Robbery Unit is still investigating and they are asking anyone who might have any information in regards to this robbery to call the London Police Service at 519-661-5670 or CrimeStoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS or www.londoncrimestoppers.com
