Police Release – Beer Bottle Assault
On Monday January 12 2009 at 9:40 pm a 32 year old male approached an unknown 47 year old male at the intersection of Richmond Street at King Street. There was discussion over the 47 year old male yelling at a group of females. The 47 year old male proceeded to yell at the male, brandished a beer bottle and struck him over the head repeatedly. Police were called and located the suspect hiding under a vehicle in the area. The victim sustained non life threatening injuries from the assault.
Carl Smith 47 years of London is charged with assault with a weapon.
