Police Release – Hit & Run
On February 16, 2009 at approximately 9:00am the London Police attended the intersection of Southdale Road at Millbank Drive for a hit and run involving a 52 year old female pedestrian and dog that had been struck by a car. The pedestrian was walking northbound in the crosswalk when a light coloured 4 door vehicle driven by an older white male was making a left hand turn and struck the pedestrian. The vehicle was last seen going east on Southdale Road. The pedestrian suffered minor injuries while the dog was unharmed.
