Police Release – Warrant Executed on Chapman Ct.
On Tuesday February 24 2009 at 8:12 am the London Police Service Guns and Drugs Section executed a search warrant to 39-70 Chapman Court. Police located a small scale Hydroponic marihuana grow operation in the basement and seized 176 marihuana plants, a small quantity of marihuana bud, ecstacy, cocaine and oxycodone. The total value of drugs seized is $44,783. Police seized a loaded .22 calibre Squire Bringham Model semi-automatic rifle that was reported stolen from a break and enter to a residence in Sarnia in 2004. Two males were arrested and charged;
Jeffery Shields, 46 years of London is charged with seven charges relating to firearms and four drug charges (possession marihuana for purpose of trafficking, unlawfully producing marihuana, possession marihuana, possession cocaine).
Stephan Schieb 49 years of London is charged with nine charges relating to firearms, seven drug charges,(possession marihuana for purpose of trafficking, unlawfully producing marihuana, possession marihuana, possession cocaine, two counts possession oxycodone, possession ecstacy.), three counts of breach of probation and breaching a weapons prohibition order.
