Police Release – School’s Out!!!!!

That’s the screams you’ll here at the end of today. Not for the summer but for a week at least during the March Break.

Not everyone will be heading south to the sunny beaches and DisneyWorld and for those motorists left behind, the London Police Service wants to get the message out that there will likely be more children using the roads, sidewalks and parking lots.

The weather is suppose to get better and the last of the snow piles are starting to disappear. Children will be breaking out their bicycles and basketballs and heading down to the nearest park, schoolyard or variety store.

All drivers need to be extra careful to watch for the children who might not watch out for motorists.

Parents are asked to remind their children about safe practices regarding crossing streets and riding bikes.

Let’s make March Break a safe and fun time for everyone.
