Police Release – St. Paddy’s Day Message
In light of the tragic event in London last Friday where three innocent people died in an alcohol related collision this St. Patrick’s Day message is ever more poignant. Is it possible to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day without alcohol? Of course it is! However this “holiday” is likely one of the busiest days in most bars, pubs and taverns throughout the world.
The phrase “Luck of the Irish” shouldn’t be interpreted to mean “hopefully getting home in one piece after drinking and driving”.
Everyone is asked to enjoy the St. Patrick’s Day “holiday” responsibly and if you drink, please don’t drive.
