London Police are seeking the assistance of the public in locating a truck and trailer involved in a collision with a pedestrian on Cheapside Street on Wednesday April 1st at approximately 8:25pm.
At this time a 65 year old male was walking southbound across Cheapside Street just west of Highbury Avenue. He walked halfway across the road and waited for an eastbound truck to pass. When the truck passed the pedestrian started to walk again failing to see that the truck was pulling a trailer. The pedestrian was struck by the trailer and suffered serious injuries.
The truck continued eastbound on Cheapside Street and turned south onto Highbury Avenue.
The truck is likely a pickup truck pulling what was described as a black closed in trailer with silver trim and red and white reflective tape along the back.
Anyone with information about this occurrence or truck is asked to contact the London Police at 519-661-5670.
