Police Release – Credit Card Fraud

On Wednesday April 22 2009 at 2:57 pm a male entered a business on Wellington Road South and ordered a large quantity of stamps using a falsified credit card and Police were contacted. At 3:08 pm Police attended and arrested a male for fraud. This same male was linked to four other frauds involving using falsified credit cards at four separate locations in the City purchasing stamps. The total amount of fraud was over $5000.

Mohammed Saleh, 31 years of Mississauga is charged with nine counts of use credit card obtained by offence, four counts of Fraud under $5000 and four counts of attempt fraud under $5000.
