Podcamp London
I’m really looking forward to the event later this morning at the Station Park Inn, the first-ever London, Ontario podcamp. Or, as it bills itself, “the first New and Social Media unconference in London.” More info…
Registration for ticket-holders starts at 8:30 a.m. and sessions will begin at 9:00 a.m. and continue throughout the day.
It’s the place to be “if you’re interested in blogging, social media, social networking, podcasting, video on the net, if you’re a podsafe musician (or want to be), or just someone curious about new media.”
I’m keen to discover all the different subjects that will be presented.
Part of what makes PodCamps so great is that everyone can participate. We encourage you to share what you know! If you have experience in an area throw your name up on the sessions page and put together some slides or something.
Check out the schedule and the sessions list but keep in mind that podcamps are dynamic in nature, rather than overly structured (podcamps are often referred to as ‘unconferences’).
I’ll have my L9000 webcam and my Zi6 camcorder with me, so check this site throughout the day for video of the proceedings.

FAIL! I underestimated how interesting these sessions would be. I can’t make myself take the time to post more than this for now. I’ll try to put something up for you tomorrow. Mea culpa.
