Police Release – East End Home Invasion
On May 08, 2009 at approximately 5:31 a.m. London Police Constables were dispatched to a residence in the city’s east end for a report of a home invasion. Police attended the area and a short time later became involved in brief pursuit of a suspect vehicle. The pursuit ended safely and a lone male suspect was taken into custody. Charges are pending. This is not believed to be a random act however the relationship between the victim and suspect is unknown. In order to maintain the integrity of the ongoing investigation, London Police at this time are not able to provide more details of this incident.

Further to the home invasion in the east end a replica handgun was located in the vehicle pursued by police as well as a shell casing found in the area. There was no known injuries. Police continue to investigate.
