From My Bottom Step

On Monday May 11 2009 a north end residence was broken into during the afternoon through an unlocked door and a quantity of jewelry was stolen. Break and Enters involving jewelry being targeted continues and Police are requesting that if anyone sees any suspicious people to contact Police immediately. Some of the suspicious behavior includes people attending residences asking for fictitious persons or asking for directions to businesses. Police have been contacted in regards to home owners having had someone knock at their door and when they do not answer the door, they find the suspicious person trying doors to their residence while they are still inside. Police would like to remind citizens that a primary preventive measure to break and enters is locking your doors.
