Prohibiting Circuses
The 2008/07/22 meeting of the Animal Welfare Advisory Committee (AWAC) passed a recommendation that circuses be prohibited in London.
The director of Environmental Programs and Solid Waste (J. Stanford) provided the committee with a verbal update at it’s 2009/04/28 meeting.
City staff are expected to present the Environment and Transportation Committee (ETC) with a report at it’s 2009/06/01 meeting, which will include “a review of related policies in other municipalities and potential actions for consideration in the City of London.”
