Neighbourhood Task Force Survey
I’m one of more than 100 London residents, supported by the City of London, who’ve been working together to develop a comprehensive city-wide Strengthening Neighbourhoods Strategy and a 5-year Implementation Plan for all London’s neighbourhoods.
Strong neighbourhoods contribute to the quality of life of everyone: clean streets, vibrant local businesses, walkable communities with nearby amenities and parkland, an environment that shuns crime and violence, and a strong feeling of support and connectedness amongst neighbours.
There are 4 key steps in our process:
- What is a definition of a strong neighbourhood? What makes up a strong neighbourhood?
- Where do all the neighbourhoods stand?
- How do we move forward city-wide?
- Develop a multi-year plan targeting specific objectives and outcomes over the next 5 years.
We would like to find out what you think about your neighbourhood.
To do this, we need you to help by printing out a survey and completing it (which should only take about 10 minutes): Page 01, Page 02, Page 03.
You can find out how we answered the first two questions in the Conversation Tool. As the name suggests, that document may help you to engage in a discussion about this with the people that you know.
The survey is anonymous, but we would appreciate knowing the Planning District that you live in (please enter it in the space on the top of the first survey page).
