Police Release – Variety Store Robber Rejected

On May 16, 2009, at approximately 3:50am London Police responded to a report of a Robbery at the variety store located at 1165 Oxford St E. The lone male suspect brandished a knife and demanded cash from the clerk on duty. The clerk defended himself using a nearby metal rod. The male suspect fled from the scene having obtained no cash from the store. Police are looking for a suspect described as male, white, approximately 5′5″, slim build, late teens or early twenties. During the robbery, the suspect was wearing dark jeans, a dark jacket with black hood, a black ski mask and gloves.
