LTC Adopts Media Policy
As reflected in the minutes of it’s 2009/05/27 meeting which have just finally been posted to it’s website, the LTC has adopted a new Media Relations Policy following the previous political action which I took in order to be able to inform you about what that arm of local government is up to.
And, as reflected in those minutes, Councillor Harold Usher continues to demonstrate an alarming reluctance to have his public behaviour scrutinized.

Seems like this post wasn’t finished? What did they decide and what did Councillor Harold Usher do?
Didn’t you watch the video? I thought it was self-explanatory when I was recording it but I haven’t had any time to watch/transcribe it.
The media policy is online for you to read and, despite the continued griping/posturing by some members of the Commission about “allowing” media coverage, Councillor Usher was the only one to vote against it.
The strategy of posting video instead of writing about it is that it’ll allow me to report on more things, more accurately (once I get past the learning curve and work out the resource problems). I’ve got a ton of it that I haven’t even managed to get posted yet. Also, I’m still mulling over how best to differentiate between the “news” and “opinion” side of things.
