A London Police Service media release:

The London Police Service is currently investigating an armed robbery that took place just after midnight on Sunday, July 05, 2009.

A 20 year old female victim answered a knock on her door to her room at the Days Inn, located at 1100 Wellington Road. The victim was met by three suspects brandishing handguns, who forced the victim back into her room and robbed her of some personal belongings. The female victim was not injured and the three suspects ran from the scene.

The suspects are described as two females and one male, all wearing baggy clothing and all had their identities concealed with either hooded sweatshirts or bandannas covering their faces. They are all described as having a tanned or olive complexion.

London Police are currently investigating three robberies, two at the Days Inn located at 1100 Wellington Road on June 30 2009 and on July 5 2009 and a third robbery occurred on June 18 2009 at 2:10 am at the Virginia’s Adult Massage and Spa located on Clarke Road. On June 18th two females and a male entered Virginia’s Adult Massage and Spa , one female brandishing a handgun. A quantity of cash was obtained and the suspects fled. No one was injured. Further investigation led Police to believe that the same suspects are responsible for all three robberies. There is concern for other women involved in the industry being targeted as the suspects have yet to be identified. In these cases the females were believed to have been targeted because they were engaged in the sex trade industry. Police continue to investigate the robberies and advise the public that the suspects are still at large and of the possibility of them to reoffend.

Tommy Rabi 22 years of London, Tamara Wilson 25 years of London have been arrested and are charged with the two Robberies at the Days Inn that occurred on June 30 2009 and July 5 2009. The charges are the following:

• Tommy Rabi is charged with two counts of robbery and wearing a disguise.
• Tamara Wilson is charged with two counts of robbery, two counts of wearing a disguise, two counts of using an imitation firearm while committing an indictable offence and two counts of possession of a weapon for the purpose of committing an offence.

A warrant has been applied for Vanessa Wade 30 years of London is charged with two counts of robbery, two counts of wearing a disguise, one count of using an imitation firearm during the commission of an indictable offence and one count of possessing a weapon for committing a criminal offence.
