Financial Advisor Charged With Fraud
A London Police Service media release:
On July 16, 2009 the London Police Service Fraud Section concluded a 7 month criminal investigation involving a financial advisor. Mark Lindsay, 28 years of age from St. Mary’s Ontario has been charged with 14 counts of Fraud and 1 count of Breach of Trust. Mr. Lindsay was an employee of the Investors Group. The Investors Group has assisted the police investigation and has reimbursed the victims for their losses. There were a total of 16 victims and police allege they were defrauded in excess of $1 million.
