Male Critically Injured by King Street Fire

A London Police Service media release:

On Tuesday July 21 2009 at 10:43 pm Police and Fire Department were called to 689 King Street North for a fire. The fire was extinguished and a 57 year old male found inside of the apartment was taken to hospital with serious injuries. The male remains in critical condition. The cause of the Fire has yet to be determined and Police continue to guard the scene. Damage is estimated at $100,000.

Appended 2009/07/24 @ 05:05 p.m:

The male is currently in fair condition at hospital. The Ontario Fire Marshall is continuing their investigation. At this time the fire does not appear to be suspicious.
