Suspected Car Thief Arrested
A London Police Service media release:
On Wednesday August 5 2009 at 1:40 pm a Detective from the Criminal Investigation Division observed a stolen vehicle at Highbury Avenue and Trafalgar Street. The vehicle pulled into a parking lot and the driver was arrested. The vehicle was reported stolen on July 27th, stolen from Highway 19 and 401. The vehicle had stolen licence plates. The licence plates were stolen from a vehicle parked on Baseline Road reported on July 27th.
Gary Newby 50 years of London is charged with possession of stolen property over $5000 and possession of stolen property under $5000.
