So What?
Ordinarily, the story that a cabbie may have been driving around accepting fares without a valid driver’s license, might be newsworthy. But when the cabbie is Jan Radecki who is at the centre of a much bigger story (the fact that he may have been assaulted by 20 y.o. Chicago Blackhawks right winger Patrick Kane over 20 cents), one has to wonder if it’s just a smokescreen. A diversionary defensive tactic aimed at suggesting that the much older victim was somehow deserving of such treatment?
