Robbery Attempt at the Medicine Shoppe
A London Police Service media release:
On Friday August 21st 2009, at approximately 2:40 p.m., a male entered, the Medicine Shoppe, located at 279 Wharncliffe Road North (north of Oxford Street). The suspect told the pharmacist he was being robbed and indicated he had weapon. The male demanded narcotics but the pharmacist confronted the robber and the male fled on foot empty handed. The pharmacist sustained no injuries in this incident.
Police are asking for assistance in identifying the suspect, who is described as follows:
- White male, 5′7″, approximately 30 years, with an unshaven and weathered face with brown facial hair. He was wearing a red/white bandana, a dark coloured t-shirt and dark coloured pants (possibly black jeans).
