Vehicle-Pedestrian Incident
A London Police Service media release:
On Sunday August 30 2009 at 4 pm a 35 year old female was attempting to enter her vehicle in a parking lot located at 1580 Adelaide Street North when a male in a pickup truck was parked beside her. There was a verbal disagreement between both parties about the parking situation. When the male moved his truck forward, the female went behind the pickup truck to take a photo of the licence plate. While the female was doing this the male put the vehicle into reverse and struck the female with rear bumper of the truck. The male left in the pickup. Police were called and arrested the male shortly thereafter at an address on Adelaide Street North. The female received non life threatening injuries and was taken to hospital.
Michael Cowan 54 years of London is charged with Assault with a weapon, driving while disqualified and dangerous operation of a motor vehicle.

LPS advises me that the accused will be appearing in court 2009/09/09 for a bail hearing.
