LPS Responsiveness
Given today’s LPS media release about the rollerblader who was struck by a car yesterday and is in serious condition, I’ve decided to share this recent inquiry with you. So far, there’s been no response from LPS.

Received: Wednesday, September 2, 2009, 3:50 PMWhile waiting for a scheduled ride to arrive, I observed a rollerblader travelling the wrong way (eastward) along Queens Avenue 2009/08/30 at approx. 10:35 p.m. I reported the incident using the non-emergency number (519-661-5670) but response was very slow.
Can you tell me how my report was dealt with? I’m particularly interested in knowing whether or not the footage from the Queens/Wellington surveillance camera was reviewed (and if so, by whom) and whether or not LPS managed to intercept the individual?
