Forgery Doesn’t Fool Alert Bank Teller

A London Police Service media release:

21 year old Liliana Simas of London is charged with three counts of uttering a forged document and possession of stolen property. On October 17 2009 just after 12:00pm the accused and an unknown male attended 3 separate banks in the City of London. The accused attempted to cash a stolen cheque at each branch. Staff members at one of the banks became suspicious and contacted the London Police Service. Officers located the accused female inside of the branch were she was arrested. A quantity of cash was recovered.
