MOvember
A London Police Service media release:
Some members of the London Police Service will be sporting a new look as of November 1 2009. The London Police Service is participating in an event called “MOvember” which raises funds and promotes awareness for prostate cancer research. MOvember originally started in Austrialia in 2004 and since has grown into an international event with over $52 million raised globally. A “Mo” is Australian slang for mustache.
With the full support of Chief Murray Faulkner members have been granted permission to grow mustaches while working for the month of November.
