Suspected Hate Crime Stabbing
A London Police Service media release:
On Sunday November 8 2009 at 11:05 am a 52 year old female entered an elevator at an apartment building on Jalna Boulevard near Bradley Avenue. An unknown male inside of the elevator proceeded to take an unknown object and stab at the female’s arm, cutting through her clothing and making contact with her skin. The suspect grabbed the female’s head covering off of her head and stabbed the head covering causing it to tear. The suspect then exited the elevator leaving the female inside. The female received non life threatening injuries. Because of comments made by the suspect, Police are investigating this as a hate crime. Police are looking for a suspect described as:
- White male, 30-35 years old, 5’7, clean shaven, medium build, wearing a black leather jacket, dark blue jeans, white running shoes and a black toque.
