Wrong-Way Driver
A London Police Service media release:
On November 10 2009 at 2:48am officers observed a vehicle driving the wrong way down King Street. The driver stopped the vehicle in the middle of street and performed a U turn. The vehicle then travelled eastbound on King Street driving in the lane designated for parking.
The driver was stopped in the parking lot of 73 King Street. The driver of the vehicle was spoken to by officers who determined he was driving under the influence of alcohol.
25 year old Michael Weerts of London is charged with one count impaired operation of a motor vehicle and over 80mgs alcohol in blood.
