LTC Operator Assaulted

A London Police Service media release:

On Tuesday November 10 2009 at 5:40 pm a male on an LTC bus indicated that he wanted to get off of the bus on Glenroy Road at Pond View Road. When the bus stopped the male approached the male driver. The suspect assaulted the bus driver and stole LTC bus transfers.

Upon fleeing the bus, the suspect struck his head on a nearby bus stop sign. The male fled southbound on Glenroy Road then westbound on Pond View Road. The driver of the bus received non life threatening injuries. Police are looking for a suspect described as:

  • White male, 30-35 years old, 5’9, slim build, short dark hair, clean shaven wearing a light blue puffy coat and blue jeans.

    He stole transfers and then ran into a stop sign. *snickers* Are you kidding me? And right before an LTC strike too. This guy needs a helmet.
