Death at EMDC
A London Police Service media release:
Police are currently investigating the death of a 25 year old female inmate at the Elgin Middlesex Detention Centre on Friday November 13 2009. At approximately 4 am Police were called to London Health Science Centre to investigate. Detectives from the Major Crime Section are currently investigating, as all in custody deaths are investigated by them. At this time there is nothing to suggest there is foul play and Police are working with the Coroner to determine what occurred. There will be an autopsy conducted.
