Stolen Conway Dr. Truck Recovered
A London Police Service media release:
On Monday November 16 2009 at 12:09 am officer observed a stolen vehicle northbound on Highbury Avenue near Hamilton Road. The stolen vehicle accelerated as it turned east bound onto Wavell Street and a pursuit was initiated at Saskatoon Street. The stolen vehicle executed an erratic northbound turn onto Edmonton Street, left the roadway and struck a parked vehicle and a fence to a property.
The driver and passenger fled on foot and were arrested shortly thereafter in backyards to residences. The pickup truck was reported stolen on November 14th from a parking lot on Conway Drive.
A 16 year old male of London is charged with possession of stolen property, failing to stop for Police and leaving the scene of an accident.
A 17 year old male of London is charged with occupying a motor vehicle taken without consent.
