Afternoon Purse Theft
A London Police Service media release:
On Wednesday November 18 2009 at 5:27 pm a 20 year old female was with a group of people at the corner of Wellington Street and Dufferin Avenue. The female was assaulted by two females and her purse was stolen. The victim was not injured. A citizen recovered the stolen purse in Victoria Park. A quantity of the stolen property is still outstanding. Police are looking for two females described as:
- White female, 21 years old, 5′8″, thin, thin face, dark brown shoulder length hair in a ponytail wearing big sunglasses, black jacket, light blue jeans and light running shoes.
- White female, 18-22 years old, 5′5″, slim build, bangs, dark brown reddish shoulder length hair with bangs wearing light blue jeans.

Blair Simmons (male), 25 years of London is charged with Robbery.
