Knifepoint 4U Robbery

A London Police Service media release:

On Wednesday November 18 2009 at approximately 7 pm a lone male entered the 4U Variety Store located at 1570 Highbury Avenue, brandished a knife and demanded money from the clerk. The suspect obtained a quantity of cash and fled to an awaiting vehicle with a male driver. The clerk was not injured. Police are looking for a suspects and vehicle described as:

White male, 45-50 years old, 5’5, 170 lbs, full grayish beard wearing a black toque and a light brown oversized jacket.

There is no further description of the male driver at this time.

An older North American 4 door sedan, light coloured with a licence plate similar to AXPT100. The rear window of the car was smashed out.

Correction – the suspect was the lone driver of vehicle. There is not a second suspect.

The outstanding vehicle has been recovered as a result of citizen contacting Police. The investigation is continuing.

Donald Gray, 44 years of London is charged with armed robbery.
