Garfield Street Arson
A London Police Service media release:
On Saturday November 21 2009 at 7:24 am four occupants were sleeping in a residence on Garfield Street when one occupant awoke to the smell of smoke. A working fire was located on the front porch.
The four occupants inside of the residence were able to escape without injury. The London Fire Department attended and extinguished the fire. Damage to the porch is estimated at $1,000. Through further investigation a male responsible for setting the fire was arrested at 3:43 pm at a residence in London.
A 15 year old male of London is charged with Arson having disregard for human life and with uttering threats.
