London Police Service released this yesterday:

London Police are investigating a stabbing that occurred on Banbury Rd overnight. Police were detailed to a house party after report of a large disturbance.

A male received several stab injuries to the chest but is expected to survive. Another female received minor stab wounds to her legs. Two officers were assaulted when they arrived at the address and one of them received an injury to his hand.

Two males were taken in custody for assault police and obstructing justice. The stabbing incident is still under investigation and no arrests have been made at this time.

Also released yesterday:

A 19 year old male who received stab wounds to his chest has been admitted to London Health Science Centre where his condition is listed as FAIR.

A 53 year old woman who received minor stab wounds to her leg was treated at hospital and released.

No arrests have been made at this time.

IN ADDITION:

Two of the party-goers were arrested after interfering with the police investigation.

A 19 year old male has been charged with resisting arrest and a 22 year old male has been charged with resisting arrest and obstructing police. Both will appear in court today.

During these arrests, one Police Officer received minor injury consisting of soft tissue damage to his hand. He was treated and released from hospital. A second officer suffered a sore hand and abrasion to his knee. He was treated at the scene.

An 18 year old London man is now in custody in relation to this incident and will be facing two counts of Aggravated Assault. He will appear in court today.

The victims, a 19 year old London man is still in hospital as a result of his injury. The 53 year old London woman had already been treated and released.
