Sgt. Tom’s New Year’s Eve Message

A London Police Service media release:

The London Police Service want to remind all motorists that the last New Years Eve party favour that you want to be blowing into is a breathalyzer held by a police officer.

Most of the patrol officers on the streets tonight will be equipped with the handheld “roadside” breathalyzer. This device has a mouthpiece, flashing lights and a slight musical tone when in operation. Motorists who drive after celebrating too much with alcohol may find themselves blowing into a “not so fun” party favour that may end up getting them arrested and charged.

Do yourself a “favour”, end the old year and start the new year safely….DON’T DRINK AND DRIVE!
