TD Bank Robbed
A London Police Service media release:
On Monday January 18 2010 at 1:48 pm a male entered the TD Bank located at 1663 Richmond Street and passed a note to a teller demanding money. A quantity of money was obtained and the suspect fled. No weapon was seen. No one in the bank was injured. Police are looking for a suspect described as:
- Black male, slim build wearing a yellow hoody and sunglasses.

On Monday January 18 2010 at 8:02 pm a lone male entered the Subway located at 109 Fanshawe Park Road East, approached the clerk and demanded money. A weapon was mentioned but no weapon was seen. The suspect obtained a quantity of property and fled. The clerk was not injured.
While detectives from the Robbery unit of the Criminal Investigation Division were investigating further into the TD Bank robbery that occurred on January 18 2010 at a residence in London, the suspect for the robbery attended that residence while officers were still present and was arrested at 9:12 pm. Further investigation revealed that the suspect for the TD Bank robbery was also responsible for the robbery at the Subway. A quantity of the cash stolen from the Subway was recovered.
Hazim Abdelwahab, 19 years of London is charged with robbery and wearing a disguise (TD Bank Robbery) and robbery, wearing a disguise, carrying a concealed weapon (knife located on his person upon arrest) and uttering threats. (Subway Robbery)
