I don’t have any kind of a budget in order to try and advertise the availability of the City Hall webcasts that I do to try and inform people about local government, so it’s really nice whenever somebody helps to spread the word.

So I’m very grateful to Phil McLeod for the comments that he made in his recent “Transportation subsidies: Who’s really getting it?” blog post.

Similarly, I’m thankful to have been asked by the good folks at Rogers TV to express my opinions for yesterday’s First Local show about pedestrian safety. It’s an issue that’s very important to me, and long overdue for the public attention that it deserves. I’m just really sorry that it took the deaths of 18 Toronto pedestrians in 25 days for that to happen.
