Police Warning to Superbowl Fans
A London Police Service media release:
Despite taking place 2,400kms away (that’s 26,664 football fields for you real fans) the Superbowl game in Miami may have an impact of the citizens of London. While fans hover around their television sets in basements living rooms or bars, London Police will be out on the street with roadside breathalyzers and a RIDE program to catch motorists who drank too much during the game.
Police want the message to be, “enjoy the game, including alcohol if that’s your choice but don’t get into the driver’s seat of a car after drinking too much”. Plan ahead! Decide prior to drinking how you will be getting home. Stick to that game plan.
