At York University in Toronto for the last week the Faculty, Teaching Assistants, and Graduate Assistants have been on strike. As part of their strike action they have taken to erecting “information blockades” on roadways around the University, holding vehicles for two minuets for a quick chat.
Friday, this video of an altercation with one such barricade and a driver was taken by a union supporter and posted to YouTube … Continue Reading
If you were downtown on Sunday you might have noticed a strange lurch in a few people’s steps, and even an attack on a few citizens by a group of sickly-looking corpses. The dead were walking!
The second annual Zombie Walk coincided with World Zombie Day this year as a hoard of zombie fans rose from the dead in cities across the globe to celebrate the 40th anniversary of George A Romero’s ‘Night of the Living Dead.’
One curmudgeon would have preferred that the “infantile half-wits” had stayed at home. But despite the objections, there were more then 100 people of all ages who decided to come out in full costume and join in the fun, bringing something odd and unexpected to people downtown, which judging by the honks and smiles was much appreciated.

These issues all poll out evenly. So what can the parties focus on as the key issue this election?
Leadership.
This isn’t surprising to me, for the last few elections people have asked whether … Continue Reading

Historically Canada’s political branding and websites have been sub par at the best of times. But the one exception to that rule in the last few years has been the New Democratic Party (NDP), their recent re branding and online presence previous to this election has been a refreshing break in that trend. So when I went to visit the party … Continue Reading
I went out Saturday to take in the annual Doors Open here in London, hitting mostly downtown locations. During my travels I took lots of pictures, here are some of them. Enjoy.
