Proposed Methane Gas Facility Calls For Answers

Agenda item #11 at today’s Planning Committee is a public participation meeting with respect to a proposal that the zoning of the property located at 8 Cuddy Boulevard be changed in order to permit the construction and operation of a Bio-Gas Energy Generation Facility. That’s a place that will accept organics and will produce methane gas from it’s decomposition, in order to generate electricity to the province’s electrical grid.

Police Release – Brandishing Weapon

On December 31, 2008, at approximately 10:30pm, London Police officers responded to an apartment building on Mornington Ave regarding a complaint of a male on the 8th floor waving a gun. Responding officers located and arrested the male suspect at gun-point at that location and seized a black pellet pistol, $1150 worth of marijuana and a quantity of cash.
