Do You Twitter?

Twitter is a micro-blogging service which allows computer/cellphone users to post mini messages limited to 140 characters or less. The tech community loves the ease with which news, links, profiles etc. can be exchanged, and that’s reflected in an exploding number of users (2008 saw a 600% increase to an estimated 5 million currently). And it’s a great way to meet new people in your own community.

Local tweeter Brian Frank says, “I’ve never found any more effective way to find people with the same interests.”
