Cops for Cancer – Battle in the Saddle

The Canadian Cancer Society and the Cops for Cancer are pleased to announce that the 1st annual Battle in the Saddle will take place this weekend at Masonville Place. The Battle in the Saddle is a 24 hour stationary bike-a-thon to raise awareness of, and funding for pediatric cancer research and support programs through the Canadian Cancer Society.

TTC Alerts

Starting tomorrow, public transit users in Toronto will be able to subscribe to e-mail and text message updates about disruptions and other changes (see links in sidebar).

I’ve been lobbying City Hall for this sort of thing for ages. Persons who are interested in particular subject areas ought to be able to subscribe to those subject-specific information feeds.
