Municipal WiFi

Remember my City Hall Shocker post in which I expressed my hope for increased City Hall support for WiFi in London?

There was a staff report to the 2009/11/18 meeting of Board of Control about the recent award of an RFP for WAN (wide area network) services. Specifically, that authorization be given to negotiate a joint City/TVDSB/LDCSB 10-year contract with Bell Canada. It seems that the only other bids received were from Atria Networks and Rogers Communications. Continue Reading
