Agenda item #11 at today’s Planning Committee is a public participation meeting with respect to a proposal that the zoning of the property located at 8 Cuddy Boulevard be changed in order to permit the construction and operation of a Bio-Gas Energy Generation Facility. That’s a place that will accept organics and will produce methane gas from it’s decomposition, in order to generate electricity to the province’s electrical grid.
While I am supportive of this kind of operation from a “green” perspective, that support does come with some qualifications. Continue Reading
