Is voting too inconvenient for most? It would seem so. In my view, the main reason we have backward thinking dinosaurs in public office is because of poor voter turnout.
100% of people love to bitch and complain about all levels of government, yet barely half show up to the polls. In the last Provincial election 52.6% made it to the polls. In the last Federal election 59.1% showed up. Search as I might I could not find the percent from the last Municipal election, but I do know the turnout was low. Continue Reading
